Compare the Mint and Lacrimosa KunPeng 70 controller gift boxes from BEITONG—same hardware, different collectible style. Decide which design fits your shelf and budget.

Quick answer

If you want the full custom look with the acrylic quicksand block, the Mint gift box is the pick; if you prefer a more reserved design and a lower price, the Lacrimosa version delivers the same BEITONG hardware for less.

Same hardware, different collectible appeal

Both the Mint and Lacrimosa KunPeng 70 gift boxes come from BEITONG and share the same controller dimensions (156×107×63mm), so the core gamepad experience is identical. The real difference is the character theming and the extras included in each gift box.

The Mint version is priced higher at USD 151.73 (compare at USD 219.90), while the Lacrimosa version costs USD 131.94 (also compare at USD 219.90). That price gap reflects the different custom designs and the included collectible items, not a change in controller performance.

Because both are pre-order items with a close date of 2026-07-21, you need to commit before seeing the final product in hand. The manufacturer release is September 2026, with US arrival expected in December 2026—so plan for a longer wait if you order now.

Trade-offs to consider before you pre-order

Design preference: Choose Mint if you prefer a lighter, fresher color scheme; choose Lacrimosa if you like a darker, more mysterious aesthetic. Both are custom BEITONG controllers, so the visual theme is the main differentiator.
Price: The Lacrimosa version costs about USD 20 less than the Mint version. If budget is tight, Lacrimosa gives you the same hardware and similar extras for less.
Collectible value: Both include an acrylic quicksand block, badge, and sticker sheet, but the Mint version's higher price may reflect a more detailed or popular design among fans. If you care about rarity or resale, consider which character has a stronger following. Check the character's popularity in the community before choosing—this can affect both your personal enjoyment and future collectible value.
